The 7: Seven Wonders that will Change Your Life by Glenn Beck and Keith Ablow
A pretty good instruction manual for living life, dealing with failures and rising above them. Also gives some good biography on Glenn Beck if you are interested in him as a person.
Waking the Dead by John Eldrege
If you have Eldredge much of his works overlap and you will find many of the same principles in Waking the Dead. That being said, I have come to love Eldredge as an inspiring and motivating Christian writer especially for the masculine spirit. A great quick read.
Trickle Down Tyranny -by Michael Savage
Listened to this one on audiobook. This book is very informative and provides a good perspective of what the Obama Administration has done and is doing to the country and goes into a fair amount of detail on a wide range of topics. The facts are laid out for the reader to form a conclusion of his own in addition to the commentary provided by Savage. I'm an avid listener/viewer of Glenn Beck and much of this information was not new to me, even though Savage paints himself as the only person who knows the depths of Obama's socialist agenda and the Soros machine. If you are not a Savage or Beck listener, then this book will be very very revealing.
The Dogs of War - by Lisa Rogak
I was given this book for Christmas as I was interested in a K9 position within my department and thought it would have some good background. It does provide a good broad overview on what goes into these dogs and what is required of the handlers. Some interesting military dog stories as well. Some of it is applicable to police K-9 work but a lot of it is war dog specific. Still recommend it to aspiring dog handlers.
